Oh what the hell let's keep this thing going. I ran across "Pentatonic Wars and Love Songs" by Otis Taylor. All I can say is brilliant!:victory:

I have been listing to the new Caribou album Swim. It's a great listen all the way through. Definitely good party music for cooking dinner out in the desert.

I checked it out on Amazon. I like it, I can see how its spacial qualities fit with the desert. It sorta reminds me of a mix between Rusted Root, Moby and Vampire Weekend, but with bigger balls.

If you think the samples on amazon were interesting you really should try out the album. The songs change quite a bit as they play out. The louder and better the speakers the better it sounds. Headphones with floor speakers thumping is the best.
