Hi Guys -
Just threw a rebuilt 4.6 into my D1 and used a cam sensor that was about 5 or so millimeters shorter than the original one. I cracked the original on the cam sprocket rivet from D&D...so I threw in a cam sensor from a p38. Maybe since it's shorter it can read the cam sprocket... Do you think this would cause my CEL to blink like it is now? My steering pump is also making a grinding racket too, but doubt any sensor in the block would pick up those vibrations.
Any thoughts? The motor runs great!
