To wear a sticker like that, you better have a bad a** truck. I hate Heep's too, but they are awesome trail rigs with little mods.

I like it. After Sunday's ride it is appropriate. No Jeep Recovery Vehicle stickers?

I went wheelin with some jeeps this weekend. Had a great time. Jaime C. (stock D1) had to pull a couple out, including a Rubicon, and Jeff D (RRC) had to pull one out that has 33's. I got enough compliments on my rig, no one mentioned my "Its not a jeep thing.. its the real thing" sticker though. I also made it through everything, including a coupl things guys on 35's got stuck in. MY truck isnt like Greg D's, yet, but itll handle the pineys well enough.
I just though this would be a funny addition since i plan on wheeling with them more.
I have nothing agasint jeeps, i almost bought one, but I'm fortunate enough to be able afford a disco and i liked it a little more.

As long as you are sporting the original thing, nobody needs to remark upon it. It has its own unspoken coolness.

Repeat after me.

A Jeep is only as good as its driver
A Jeep is only as good as its driver
A Jeep is only as good as its driver
A Jeep is only as good as its driver

And the same goes for

A Rover is only as good as its driver
A Rover is only as good as its driver
A Rover is only as good as its driver
A Rover is only as good as its driver

I had an instance this weekend where I'd have to disagree with that :) Cherokee got stuck in a mud pit, and a wrangler tried tugging him out and couldnt get him.. so I strapped my rope on him and yanked him right out.. unless for some reason, i'm a better tugger, I'd have to say it was the V8 that takes the credit :)

The V8 and about a ton of weight both helped. I pulled a cherokee out of a swamp once too. Didnt even notice he had the brakes locked up for about 30 ft.

Obviously I own a Rover, but nobody can even start to compare a stock Disco to a jeep Rubicon. Have all the stickers you want, those Rubicons are amazing.

Of course it helps a lot to have a locker already installed when you buy the vehicle. You could say the same thing if LR put a locker in a stock disco before you bought it. You can't compare a stock disco to a Jeep that's been modified at the factory. I don't care if the goodies were installed at the factory, a Rubicon isn't considered a stock wrangler in my mind.

you are in denial.

Those parts are coved under the factory warranty from any jeep dealer in america. Thats pretty bad ass in my book.

These car companies are in business to make money. I have no issue with them providing these upgraded vehicles from the factory at an inflated price. It's a win-win for many.

It's better than the alternative you get from LRNA.

But a Rubicon isn't a "stock" jeep is it? Lets compare apples to apples like a "stock" Land Rover g4 to a rubicon. Now that's a fair comparison.

I wheeled with a rubicon before. after that trip i got the idea for this sticker.
Jaime C. stock D1. had to pull out a Rubicon from a mud pit that we all made it through. Yeah that was probably because of the driver, but he still had to be pulled out by a stock rover.

I'm not saying anything bad about Jeep, or LR. The Rubicon was a very smart decision by Jeep, and I know they made a lot of money of it, and satisfied many customers. What I'm trying to say is that you can't compare a modified vehicle to a stock one. The Rubicon is not a stock Jeep, so it doesn't make sense to compare it to a stock disco. If Special Vehicles came out with a disco that was locked up, and had other extras like the Rubicon, then it wouldn't be fair to compare it to a stock wrangler.
