So, has anyone replaced thier bonnet and had to realign it? I am putting my replacement on, and when it is closed, it is about 3/4" higher than the cowling. There were shims in the orig and replacement, and although they fell out unexpectedly, I can see where they were. When I put them back, it still sit high.
Suggestions? Are my hinges bent? Odd that they are bent the same amount left and right......
