Blanca was not as bad as the ledgend... but it is a rough and rocky road. Winched Jaws 2 for stability going up. Did not want to roll off...

Made it two miles from Wheeler Lake before hitting a 3ft drift.

Made it to the river crossing on Holy Cross before the to FZJ80's both broke their drag links... (this was a tough trail, we did it early so there was alot of water, and very little rock stacking so far...)

On Blanca did you make it up the wall that is past Lake Como? Or is there too much snow still? I would have come up to meet you had I known you were up there. We are heading up to Breck next week and staying in Alma, CO so we will be running Wheeler Lake a lot.......When did you run Wheeler?

3ft snowdrift near Wheeler Lake???

I wouldn't be surprised. There's about a 20' (yes, foot) tall drift on the top of Webster Pass. Went sleigh riding on a 6-8' tall drift across Radical Hill on Saturday. Pics and videos:

There just may be some trails which don't open up this year due to all the snow fall last winter.

no, Forest Service said not to go up the wall (jaws 4)

wheeler lake is open, but i doubt that much snow is gone, it was not very warm. wet indeed though. here is the first drift we did kinda make it across, only to go around the corner to hit a 3'ish wall that was pretty long (hundreds of feet maybe).

Edit, pics arent loading...
