Check out this Jewel

I will give a 50 dollar credit or a bottle of Maker's (your call) to the person who has the best inquiry about this fine vehicle. Post up your inquiries here after you post them. I will pick a winner at the end of the month.

Hello,

First of let me say what a vehicle!!! I can't believe it is up for sale. What a tremendous amount of blood, sweat, and tears you must have put into this urban assault ride. You have truly done an outstanding job prepping for the impending doomsday.

I too am prepping, we have about one month left, and after three years of meticulous planning all I need the perfect vehicle. Then your post shows up. What are the odds? I do have a few questions about the Land Rover though.

What size tires and what brand are they? I am hoping you do not reply back Firestones, I lost my mother in an Explorer rollover, and I will never even get into a car with Firestones.

I noticed the hood scoop...please tell me you have installed a turbo or boost device which needs additional air to wind the engine to the higher performance band RPM's.

What other modifications have you made to the interior? Does the car come with a medical kit or and devices I need to be aware of?

Will you please leave the stickers on the truck, I too live in Illinois and I have never had the opportunity to belong to such an exclusive club. I guess the hunting permit is transferrable? I assume there are such a limited number of permits issued each year that the permit must follow the vehicle. Will you also include the contact number and infor for the "Beta" and "Delta" units if possible. I would like to extend my information to the rest of the team if I am lucky enough to buy this vehicle.

I have read Land Rovers have have a few reliability issues in certain models, are there any issues than you have yet to tend to? Do you have any service records than pertain to the vehicle?

And lastly, does it have full time 4WD or is it selectable, this is a real concern of mine. I need to have that 4WD available when I need it, and with the countdown on, you know I will need it. Is there a form of traction selector, ie mud, snow, ice, guts?

How firm are you about the price? $7500 is just a bit steep for my budget, I have made alot of purchases recently in anticipation for the end you know. I can do close to what you want, and will forego buying any more ammo or MRE's until I hear back from you.

Brian

PS. Sorry I ask so many questions, but I am so amped about this opportunity, my mind is racing with ideas and concepts to take this Land Rover to the next level, a very serious level.

Let's not get hasty. That is a very fine entry that has set the bar rather high but I am sure that someone else can take a worthy tilt at it.

Is that the Hyundai that Rick drove in the Walking Dead? If it is, why are you only asking 7K? Is there something wrong like leaks or fluid missing from the Engine? If so, maybe you could just replace it with Zombie blood from all the mangled bodies that bounce off your hood?! Holy cow, think about it! It would leak red streaks of blood and tire marks down the street for every zombie to see. No doubt it would attract them (along with a loud muffler I'm sure you've already added) allowing you many, miles of absolute zombie hood bouncing carnage that adds up to nothing short of sweet goodness! Anyhow, let me know about any blood leaks and kills.

P.S. This Zombie Butcher is definitely interested!

I went simple. Didn't want to raise too many red flags.

HI. Truck looks great!!! I was wondering, what other upgrades you have done to the interior? My friend told me there was a Zombie Response team, but I did't believe it.
When are you available for inspection? How much are you wiggle room do you have? I am working today till 6, but feel free to call.

Thanks,

Dear Sir,

I was alerted to your advertisement for a "Zombie Outbreak Response" vehicle by our Saint Louis field office. It is my responsibility as Assistant Regional Director of the Centers for Disease Control, Midwest Region, to inform you that your claimed zombie hunting permit is fraudulent and is an obvious counterfeit of the official permit. The Center for Disease Control is the only Federal agency authorized to issue these permits and yours does not match any of our records for permits already issued.

Furthermore, my office has consulted with the Springfield headquarters of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and Assistant Director Emily Brennan confirmed that there is no such permit for zombie hunting. Licenses are available for deer, waterfowl, and fur-bearing animals, however the permit you show on your vehicle is also fabricated. Please see a complete list of hunting permits that are available through the wildlife division of the Illinois DNR here:

http://www.dnr.illinois.gov/LPR/Pages/default.aspx

I hereby request that you promptly remove these unofficial "permits" from your vehicle and send photographs documenting this modification to enforcement@cdc.gov. If evidence of this action is not received by 5:00pm Eastern time on November 23, 2012, the CDC will dispatch a decontamination team to your address to remove these fraudulent permits.

I applaud your enthusiasm for wanting to protect your community from potential infestations of the undead. There are more productive and lawful ways in which you can pursue this admirable goal, and I encourage you to read the CDC's suggestions for zombie preparedness that we have published on our website:

http://emergency.cdc.gov/socialmedia/zombies.asp

Thank you for your swift compliance, and feel free to contact my office if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Dr. Herbert Moreau

Bannon, that was gold.
Pure gold.

Good to see you've still got some piss and vinegar in your bloodstream, along with the good humor.

Tugela, also good with the "reprimand" approach.

Tugela, you're in the lead.

Thank you, I have dedicated years of my life to sounding like an officious smart-ass. Glad to see the hard work is paying off.
