bad hub?

Noticed a squeak at low speeds. While greasing the u-joints I noticed the squeak is coming from the driver side front wheel. Sounds like the inner support bearing/bush for the drive shaft, or something plastic or rubber between the disc and the stoneguard.

Pull the brake pads in case you have something between them and the disc.

(Disc = Rotor)

Play @3-9 may be just slop in the tie rods. If you probably have play @ 12- 6 may point more towards bearings or swivel pins.
. Next appropiate step would be to remove the tire and spiin the hub , should roatate smoothly, should'nt growl, or feel rough .
Also , take look @ your brake pads .
Also as noted above , may be crap between the disc and mud shield..
