Anyone know where one can score this kit?

If I got that thing for $6100.00 I would strip it and make a trail rig out of it- not a problem. Those blingass wheels would probably bring some good $ on eBay. I bet it smells like pot, stale malt liquor and 27 christmas tree air fresheners in there though... ugh.

Oh the horror! Oh the travesty! Oh! Oh! Oh!

I actually saw those door things on eBay the other day while pricing out how much a normal, boring, regularly-opening passenger's door would be for a replacement for my Disco pickup concept. I thought, "who on earth would ever buy that?!?!" Sometimes those kinds of answers come to you in strange ways.

The Vutton stuff in the tyre well really looks stupid...and wouldn't want to even think about what that looks like after a few good rainstorms. Kind of reminds me of this car in one of the filling stations kind of near here. Some guy covered it with CARPETING, some of which depicts the images of Christ and Mary. Must be the only car that you vacuum to clean.

Anybody see the five different finishes applied to the steering wheel? And it's not even symmetrical!

I think this image should be saved for ever-more in a new thread called "Land Rovers that Never Stood a Chance"...an ongoing eulogy to those Discos and Rangies destroyed by people who will never be able to figure out what the diffrential lever is for, but probably had it chrome treated anyway. :)

Jamsandwich: call me a bitch but i like that painted grill,
[RoverChic retches, then forces it down]
Jamsandwich: Are you okay?
RoverChic: I'm fine. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Alveston Red was the original colour of that particular Rover.

It sure would be fun to take that thing to the Solihull National Rally in Moab this year and run trails with it :) I bet I could scrape off all of that bling with just one trip.

We could even do a special unpimp my ride write up and send the original owner a copy showing it on the trail with all of the bling all scratched up.

hmmmmm.. Should I :D

"unpimp my ride" Now THAT is a great idea! I think it would be funny as hell to pick it up after purchase and right there in front of the previous owner- cut all that swap meet Louie stuff out with a bigass knife.

So...who is winning the bid?! ;)

Not me... It is almost up to 8K for a 99 DII. As much as I would like to de-pimp that ride I would not want to spend that much on it.

It would have been cool de-pimpin it in my vendor booth @ the rally
