I've been looking at the 4th gen 4Runners. Anyone have experience with them? I know they are pretty bullet proof reliability wise. Theres examples with 500-600K miles out there. How does the ride/ capability compare to the D2? Looking at an 08 this weekend, anything I should keep an eye out for?

There is a year split where some have timing belts and some have chains. I think it's like 04 or something.
My bro has a v8 4wd 4Runner and it's pretty quick. Awd like the rovers. Compared to a d2 miles better. Even to a lr3 imo. Not compared to a l322 though. It's nice and reliable. Very simple truck.
