I am looking to purchase a new quad, I am looking for a sport quad, but not necessarily a race ready monster. I am new to the sport but I am seeking the opinion of my fellow Land Roverites.

What terrain are you riding? I really like 400EX, it was a bad ass bike for the Sand Mountain dunes, quick, light, easy to jump, and while in bone stock form it was a bit under powered for my fat ass, if you are about 190lbs and less it has plenty of go! We have a few Raptors right now and for as heavy as they are, you can't beat the torque :D Of course, if you like the 2-stroke, Banshee is the only way to go. We have one that's about 10 years old and it's still the fastest bike I've ever ridden!

I have a honda 400EX, nice machine, you can't go wrong with it, the newer ones (1 yr newer than mine) have reverse now.

I just sold a Kawasaki Mojave that I had for a few years. It was only a 250, but it had a lot of bang for the buck, it was a blast to ride.

I just got rid of my Honda Rincon.... great quad just for fun and a little exploring, and right now share a polaris 6x6 with my buisness partner for work. It's also great, stable, and a lot of fun when we aren't using it to haul around equipment.

Yep. Or look into a 4 stroke, the raptors are pretty nice.

If new to quads, I would recomend a polaris...

I have ridden just about ever make, and polaris is the easiest to learn and play on. No gears on 90% of there models... and it doesn't matter what model, the are all sporty.

I run the suzuki eiger 400 4x4, good for mud and trails. I looked at the Honda's, but you will pay for the price. I could get a 2003 eiger 400 4x4 with a winch for cheaper than a 2001 honda rancher 4x4 without a winch.
