ac under bonnet fuse keeps blowing on 95 disco

havent had any issues in a while and last week ac went out. everything works- found the culprit. the 30 amp fuse under the bonnet in the fuse box was blown. put in a new one ac cranked then died when i moved the switch on the dash. put in another one and so far so good.. any thoughts on why the fuse would blow- bad climate control speed switch???

Measure both sides of the clutch to ground. Should not have continuity to ground, should have fairly low resistance when measured across the coil, but not zero.

can this be rebuilt or replaced without having to replace the entire compressor?

Check the wires between the battery and fender for chafing.

They are for the e-fan. Mine did the same thing

Your Aux fan might be seized , get a screw driver and see if you can spin it through the grill with the truck off. Same thing happened to me.

thanks for all the input. turned out it was the interior speed switch. it was buggered to begin with..now its replaced everything works fine.

did find out though that my engine mounts and transmission were all broken.. god only knows how many miles i drove like that..
