'92 RRC -- A/C has always worked well. Recently, A/C works well below 35 mph, and truck runs well. Above 35 mph, A/C works well and truck runs crappy -- bucks, coughs, chugs, generally runs like crap.

Intake track is solid, mostly new rubber parts -- PCV hoses, tee fitting, flame trap clean, MAF hoses solid, MAF meter clean, air filter new, TPS output seems correct. The idle does bump up when the A/C is switched on.

Does this sound like a stepper motor issue? Or, possibly a ground problem, or maybe even the alternator is being affected when the A/C is on due to belt drag? I'm drawing a blank so far.
