Epsom Green '99 D2 bought as CPO from Land Rover Akron in fall 2004 with 39k miles. They told me I was second owner at time of purchase but turned out i was the third. The clock now reads approx 101k.
I recently replaced the engine with a used motor which the seller claimed was out of a 2001 D2 with 15000 miles. I doubt this seriously based on how it looks so unfortunately I cant tell you exactly how many miles the engine has. I had an indy shop install the motor and now the tranny shifter isnt aligned properly. Once in gear the truck runs fine. Also the tranny is seeping oil where it mates to the engine. the three amigos are showing (on all the time and have had them for almost two years) and the check engine light is on (indy shop said it needs two o2 sensors)
recent maint includes tranny filter and fluid change, change fluid in both difs. motor oil changed regularly.
The interior is very clean with the exception of the droopy headliner and some very very minor wear on the drivers seat.
exterior is clean as well, shows normal 10 year old vehicle wear, most notably a parking lot ding on drivers door.
it needs front brakes rotors (lockheads keep warping) and new springs and shocks all of which i will likely end up doing soon.
this has been my daily driver for nearly 5 years and was never offroaded. I have tried to baby it as much as possible but the maintenance has caught up with me and I dont have the time to deal with the current issues
