That is a chop, here is the real picture. You also got 19 inch rims for your car, that is how.

They're factory wheels, and I still take 'em on the trail... Doesn't the all-badass RR and the new LR3 come with 19 stock? No, wait, let me take these off, put steel 15"ers on, then I'll "fit in"!

Here... argue with the 22" DUB guy...

Looks like they're going to call it the Range Rover Sport. Check out the Forbes article link in the LR3 board.

Next year, when a new Land Rover called the Range Rover Sport (the so-called "Baby Range Rover")

I really doubt they're going to put such extravagant wheels on a production model. Because if its really in developement to be produced then they are most likely going to tone it down a bit. At least I hope they are going to do something with the seats. I cant imagine them putting a carbon copy of the concept out for production.

I hope they put it out there for the G4 and if they dont I hope they put the Defender out for it either way I think it would be interesting to see a concept vehical out there doing what it was designed for with a perfect cosmic blend of the new and old.

This concludes my current statement

It is going to be called the Range Rover Sport, and will fall inbetween the Freelander and LR3 in price. It is going to try and fill the price gap left by the LR3 moving into the mid $40's.

To fill the price gap it'd have to move into the mid 30s.. the LR3 is starting at 44k, while the disovery started at 33k [i believe].. Freelander starts at $27.5 ...

I'm very interested to see what the RR Sport is like.. I would love to have a RR for a daily driver and keep my disco for the trails, but with a 73k base price, that's too unrealistic, if there was something similiar in style and comfort for 30-40 range, that might be a possibility in the future.

its not going to fill any price gap. its not falling between freelander and lr3.. it falling between lr3 and rr.

freelander.. 26-31

lr3.. 45-56

l320(sport) .. 58ish-68ish..

rr.. 74-84

the gap remains.. freelander to lr3.. the smart thing to do would have been to continue building discovery and there would be no gap.

The best thing to do would be to build the defender to fill the gap! :D
