Personal situation forces the sale of my D2. I wasn't planning on selling it but life is what happens, etc.

I'm the second owner, bought in 2002 from Chattanooga LR dealership as an off-lease. Vehicle is at my house outside of Chattanooga, TN

$3500.

MECHANICAL:
Runs smooth and very strong. No mechanical issues other than a few times a year I get the 3 Amigos for maybe a day, then they go away.

168K miles, very little off road use, maybe 5-10 day trips total.

Daily driver, always maintained carefully, oil changes every 3500 miles.

Complete top end rebuild done on the engine at about 130K. Work done by Joey at Outback Offroad in Chattanooga.

Stock drivetrain except for double cardan front drive shaft replacing the non-servicable stock unit.

2" OME HD lift done in 2004. Car rides like a cloud - most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven.

New (this spring) 245/75/16 Kumho AT's.

Front sunroof is non-functional but doesn't leak a drop in any kind of rain.

Headliner sagging a little.

ADD ONS:
Safety Devices rack with diamond plate and kennel flooring.

Rovertym front bumper, with CB antenna mount and Hi-Lift mounting bolts

Stock rear bumper with cracked but fully functional tail lights.

I was in the process of mounting a Greg Davis rear bumper with a spare tire swing-arm, and will go get this bumper from Greg in the next 2 weeks. The purchaser of the truck gets first dibs on buying this bumper from me at a reduced price if you want to, after I bring it home.

COSMETIC ISSUES
No mechanical issues, but there are cosmetic issues. Both rear corner posts are dented (see photos). Both rear tail lights are new Land Rover lights I put in to replace the cracked ones. (My daughter was learning to back up and cracked the tail lights.)

The front bumper is bent up and back about 1" on the right hand side (see photo). I ran into a concrete mailbox post. It caused about a 1" fold/tear in the very front end of the quarter panel, near the light, and pushed the light forward about 1/2". I took a photo to show this as well as I could. It does not affect anything - all lights work, hood opens and closes perfectly. None of the lights were even broken in the incident.

There is a small crack on the bottom of the Rovertym bumper.

I was going to remove the bumper and straighten it at the local body shop and have these issues addressed, but I just need to sell the vehicle as is. It's not terribly unsightly, but it is a definite cosmetic issue. Can be easily rectified.

There is a 2" long dent in the hood, as you can see in the photo from a piece of rock striking it. Very minor.

Hood black out is spray painted on.

The inner 2 spot lights do not work, but the outer two and the rear work light do work. Just haven't replaced the fuse yet. They quit working a couple of weeks ago.

There is a crack on the bottom rail of the SD rack, in the very rear left hand corner, which has some rust on it.

The rear ladder paint is peeling and has a little surface rust.

Missing the two plastic A-post covers.

Like I said, it's a super strong and dependable truck I wouldn't hesitate to cross the country in. And I was going to start restoring it and doing things like axles and diffs but I can't do that now.

My email address is rgmcnabb@centurytel.net if you want to talk more about it and I can give you my cell phone number. I will email you photos of the truck - apparently I'm not able to upload attachments here. I've never uploaded a photo before but I've "met my maximum of 20 uploads" whatever that means.

I have the images on Photobucket too.

I'll be glad to deliver the vehicle inside the Nashville/Birmingham/Atlanta geneal area at no charge.

I will be out of town until Monday 9/21, and then I'm putting the truck in the shop for a couple of days for an oil change, transmission service, and spark wires and plugs and general once over and fluff and buff before I sell it. If you would like to see the truck it will be available for viewing etc. probably next wednesday. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Thanks.

Yeah, I'm taking it over there Monday. He's booked until then. You're welcome to look at it. I'll be slammed through the rest of the week or I'd show it to you today.

Oh, and I forgot - it has a CDL lock on it too. It's the push button cable variety mounted to the left of the steering column. Works great every time.
