Love it. Ive never heard of a Slimline rear bumper from RTE. Is that no longer made? I see a few models he still offers, but they dont have these lines.

This is in NC also? And I know it’s stupid but what do you think this gets for MPG’s. And you say upper engine work. New head gaskets valve job etc?

Yep truck is located in Durham NC! That is correct new Head Gaskets, Valve Job, Etc... This truck is probably getting 10-12mpg, when the needle gets to the "E" you put the plastic thing in the slot and start over!

Was just the driver's door repainted or the whole truck? Was it single or two-stage? Any awkward tape lines? Any rust? What gears are in the diffs?

Single Stage respray last year! No crazy tape lines or crazy over spray! Stock 3.54 gearing!

Hey Dave this very well could have been your truck! It did come from VA! I rescued it out from behind a shop in Wake Forest NC! They bought it from an auction and it sat behind there shop for 3 yrs!

Looking closer, maybe not. I’d removed the roof bars and had an SD low rack in it for a time. Other than that, pretty much the same.

Hey neighbor! I"m in Durham and just bought at '96 Discovery 5-speed manual from Galax, VA. Getting it overhauled at British 4x4 Automotive in Durham (Andrew) now and pick it up tomorrow! Great shop and fair prices. Any get togethers in this area for Land Rover nuts? Would love to come see your Disco before you sell it!

We went through the truck pretty front to back to address any typical rust spots! We patched the driver floor panel and one of the under hood panels!
