After much deliberation, I have decided to sell my Disco. :-( I have not been able to take it out as much as I would like and it deserves. I have done a few mods and designed and built some accessories. With that, here is the info.
Vehicle:
-1995 Discovery (I am the original owner. This was my first car after college.)
-Roman Bronze color
-original 3.9 V8
-Automatic tranny
-172K miles
-7-Seater
Upgrades:
-245x75-16 Destination MT's with 3/8" tread left.
-2" lift (Pacific Northwest kit)
-Hedman headers with O2 sensors installed
-custom exhaust with Dynomax muffler and 3" tubing
-RoverTym sliders (has some surface rust and could use a re-coating)
-ARB (non-Airbag compatible) front bumper with two Hella 4000 lights 100w bulbs)
-Safety Devices high rise roof rack-includes Chicken Coop flooring, two Hello 4000 lights (100w bulbs) Hella Rear Matador lamp. Lights are not wired up, but will include two Hella wiring harness for the 4000's.
-Hella Map light (ceiling mounted) with red lens option
-CB radio mounts (one mounts to tranny hump next to passenger, one attaches to center console hinge location and hangs on back of center console
-15" LCD and mount for displaying any Car-PC signal.
-Will include CarPC running XP with Topo software and garmin GPS antenna.
-Rear cargo drawers (my design and build) with sleeping platform. Drawer slides are rated at 100 lbs. and are full extension. Covered in carpet that matches factory interior.
-Safari snorkle
-Hi-Lift mount on Rack
-Cup holders
-Floor mounted d-rings
-Front & Rear Safari Gard Diff Guards [Front not installed]
Recent Repairs:
-Radiator cleaned and rodded
-New Thermostat (OEM) and gasket
-New overflow tank cap
Condition:
-Body is in good condition. Has trail marks (badges of honor) and some dings.
-Paint is faded (what do expect for a 20 year old car that spent most of it life in the CA sun.)
-Driver's seat is bad, hole in left bolster and sagging
-Passenger's seat if okay. Some wear spots, but no holes
-2nd and 3rd row seats are just about perfect.
-Dash is not warped
-A/C blows cold
-Heater blows hot
Issues:
-Experienced some overheating until I had the radiator cleaned, replaced the thermostat and tank cap.
-Now, starter decided to stop. I have not looked into yet, but it is the original starter and may have just given up the ghost.
Starter issue has been resolved. Starts as is should!!
-Original windshield is cracked.
-Cruise control does not work
Spare parts:
-SS extended brake lines.
-Set of exhaust manifolds, installation hardware, y-pipe and exhaust system.
-Two complete sunroof assemblies.
-RUD Tires Chains-2 pairs
-Rear Bumper Caps
-Aluminum Rear Door Panel
-Tank Mounts
-Extra Matador light--SOLD
-Yakima Fairing and Brackets
