04 DII dome lights

Just got a 04, but missed that fact that the interior lights only shut off after the 8 min time out cycle. Searched, but only found 1 post with a simular problem. Was kind of vague; cleaned the contacts in the doors. Anyone have first hand experience with this problem? Looking for some input before pulling all the door panels.:ack:

Missing the problem...your dome lights should shut off (w/doors open) after 8 min. Otherwise they shut off when you close the door.

Sorry, was not clear. They do NOT shut off when the are doors closed. They only shut off after 8 min, with doors opened or closed.

nope, i have been getting by with the floor jack and jack stands lately....
