02 Disco 2 Door Lock

HI All,

Does the Disco manually lock and unlock with the key? Or does it activate the actuator in order to lock/unlock. I know I need a new actuator or replace the motor as the passenger side works as it should.

There is a physical rod that operates the latch when the key is turned in the driver's door.

That’s in tact and connected.

That mechanically locks and unlocks. I have had the battery disconnected and locked the truck and unlocked it with the key. What are you experiencing?
