Up for sale is one of only four Land Rover Discovery's used in the 2003 Drive Around the World Longitude Expedition. The expedition started in Sunnyvale California and drove over 41000 miles crossing four continents and 31 Countries all to raise funds to cure Parkinson's disease. Along the way the entire journey was filmed and turned into an epic TV show outlining the 15-month journey around the world. Here is a link to the Odyssey show website with tons of cool video footage and information on these incredible trucks. http://odysseyshow.com/ The truck I'm selling is actual "D2" which was the camera crew's truck for the entire journey.
These land rovers were incredibly well equipped to handle any off-road scenario that they may encounter over the 31 different countries that were traversed in the Fifteen-month journey. The truck listed here has the following modifications.

I think I know this truck/guy. He works at Orvis in Asheville, I think he is a guide too. We've talked about it a few times...

I believe real "Young Edition" Rovers were signed by Steve on the glove box.

Needs cam bearings.

And 11.5 is way too much for a clapped out sd that needs a motor. Regardless of the gear it has on it.

I did notice the NATO spare though.

Where did it say it needed cam bearings?
It said the '03 4.6 was replaced with an '04 4.6 and has 60K on it. Did I miss something?

Faulty oil pressure switch is cover for low oil pressure which is most likely cam bearings. Especially on a 04 with that mils on it....
