Has anybody ever used one of these water pumps? It's cheap on close-out on rockauto, but is it worth the gamble? Thanks.

Looks like that’s all USMW does is build water pumps and engine and transmission cooling products there out of California since 2015 it’s priced right. A bit more pricey I would prefer a Flow Kooler water pump.

rockauto stuff has been a gamble for me. several closeout items were complete junk and should have never been accepted. Id go with someone reputable.

some memorable purchases:

-rover u joints with the grease fitting in a really strange place that couldn't be installed

-brake calipers that were heavily rusted/pitted out around the mounting ears. at least 30% reduction in material

-carrier bearings that were the wrong size

You've all pretty much confirmed what I thought deep inside (deeper than my wallet...). Thanks. It's definitely better to go with as best as possible when the consequences can be significant.

Put a Flowcooler on an old 80s Jeep as it just crawls in the desert it's whole life and overheated in 122F weather at slow speeds..

100% fixed the issue! Flows like a SOB at idle now. If I EVER change water pumps on anything, Flowkooler will be my FIRST CHOICE!
