I wonder if the engine is solid, or is it a coolant leaking and consuming basket case. Same for the frame and underpinnings. A commenter on the auction called out the lister with a small piece of rusty frame that wasn't painted black. I so want to buy this. I miss my 2004.

It lived in the North East and Florida. I'm sure that frame is rotting around the gas tank.
The spray on frame goop makes it pretty suspect. Looks pretty bumpy under whatever that is.

Going back and looking closer, it looks like the left rear frame has been replaced and the right has a plate welded on it.

I'd be very shocked if a DII from the Northeast had rear frame rails that were in decent shape. Nearly every DII I've looked at recently in the NE had almost swiss cheese rear frame rails over the wheels and beyond.

Blue, that was me. There is a lot of lipstick on that frame and they are calling it 'rust free'. I'd like to see a pic of the frame rails on either side of the gas tank before I'd bid but I'm not that interested so I'm not gonna pee on the parade.
