I have used a product called Plastex to repair plastic motorcycle fairings with great success. V groove the back half way through and put clear packing tape on the front and you won't need to paint it.

Pretty straight forward, but you can't buy the seals separately, you have to get the whole reservoir. IIRC it took a surprising amount of pressure on the reservoir to compress the new seals enough to get the retaining clip back in.

A troubleshooting suggestion if your vibration returns, you can mount a GoPro almost anywhere. I have used them to track down problems in complex industrial automation equipment that you otherwise can't get close to when it is running.
