Think you're pissed off now about cloud service, Google, apple...? Wait until Amazon get 10Billion for the DoD Cloud contract ...
....don't ask me to follow up on that , BTW
Completely accurate. Ran in the Mojave desert, CA with SCLR several times, engine at 222-229F* vianscanguage and stock temp gauge at normal (with new thermostat , ect)
With this post, I welcome you. (sarcasm) You're finally a Disco connoisseur.
Also, I'm terribly sorry
But, for advice and help, you're 💯 in the right place
Brakes on the D2 have always been, what's the term our thread is using ? So so....
Strap 4 passengers in it, or some trail armour and they become even more "So so;" You will have to adjust your driving style to accommodate time for stopping on a dime, should that situation be necessary.
I've...
"OME were constant duty, did not sag, but they were too short and thinner bar diameter, requiring a spacer" --<Agreed on this point from experience.
Those new springs are thick!!!!!! Wow.
100% correct. At the same time, if OP is ripping off wrap around guards, like my former QTs, I feel that's a vehicle / obstacle placement issue , I dunno
I'm changing the spark plug wires on the disco and accidently snapped the breather hose at the manifold. Any quick ideas from veterans for the fix?
Thanks for your help.and insight. Going back to finish the spark plug wire job :(...
Nope, none behind the D pillars there. But there is room to work with to fabricate something. Maybe a MDF speaker ring behind the ABS plastic you could place the mounting screws into if youre not too keen on being a perfectionist. It will hold a 6.5in/4in or what not driver easily. Depends how...
x2....I stopped parking on my driveway with an incline, haven't leaked since (replaced them again though when head gaskets were done, same as yours above). Although your leak appears more severe, and since the drip appears to be perpendicular to the ground, I'm guessing an incline was not involved.
Started on my fix Sunday. I took the center console out and then drilled out the rivets holding the metal plate to the vehicle body. I immediately saw wires supporting the solenoid had come into contact with the driveshaft. This would explain why I was blowing the F21 fuse whenever I shifted...
Hahaha! Yeah, I know. How about we just blame it on the blown tire I encountered at the exact moment when 4 wheel High reached its capabilities limit?
This truck is more of a lessons learned than anything
Found this post from another forum...looks to be related to the XYZ switch going out...know what to do now :)
I wonder if you really have to remove the driveshaft to realign...
Thanks for the info...I thought the TC solenoid was on the actual TC itself ( my rave shows 2003 model yr and below). That being said, when the truck does "know" its in N (no codes, dash displays N), the TC is still not letting me shift to Low. :banghead:
Started blowing my f21 fuse for the brake switch In July. I’d shift the truck from P to D, blow the fuse, and be locked out of P until replacing fuse. Oddly, it would not blow on the return trip from D to P.
Ok, so whatever, I’ll replace the switch at the pedal and inspect the wiring...
Re: Anyone ever ordered from APX autoparts? I have not - yet got a box from them. LOL.
