Aside from a stuck linkage, is there anything internal in the T-Case that would prevent you from selecting low range? I heard that there was a switch plunger in there that could screw you up. Mine was working perfectly 2 months ago, then got harder to select low, now won't select low range at...

Just wondering out loud here.......can you remove a D-I engine with the manifolds and cats attached and slide a replacement back in with the same configuration? Sure would save a lot of work........:D

OK, i did search....believe me :) re: 97 Disco Radio removal So i have the 5 sided fancy tool to back out the 2 screws but all that did for me was pop off the faceplate, what else do i have to do to get that radio out of there? On my 96 i just backed off the 2 screws and the radio came...

Here is where it goes in, spray like hell, holding the throttle cable open. when the engine quits, have a beer....then start up........WARNING the neighborer's will be pissed, lots of white smoke :)

I have a Super Scan II question (if anyone out there owns one) :D Will the Super Scan dis-able my 1996 Disco engine immobilizer? I want to get rid of the very troublesome alarm ECU and these things are tied together...... otherwise, does anyone know how to "overide" or "dis-able" the engine...

I know i sound like a complete newbie but i'm 50 miles from nowhere with a pretty good set of tools BUT what size thingy socket do i need to fit the starter bolt, some sort of allen head thing isn't it? I have to go round one up somewhere............ Thanks in advance :applause:
