Took the plugs out of my D1 at the weekend, four plugs in one bank were ok, nice tan colour, no deposits.
The four plugs in the other bank had heavy carbon build up, dry and very sooty.
What would cause one bank to run rich?
Where do i start looking?
Got 95,000km on the clock.

Got a 1996 with 90,000 kms on the clock, fitted a fuel pressure gauge last night, and have a problem with the fuel presure.
With the ignition on the pressure is 20 psi. Turn it off and slowly the pressure drops to zero, within a minute.
Start up the engine and the pressure is 36...
Fitted a new MSD 2 Coil over the weekend, started her up and it ran fine.
Put the tools away, cleaned up, and started it again, this time it started, ran rough for a few seconds and then slowly died. Now it refuses to start at all.
Double checked the conections, all ok there, put the old coil...
