Put your key in the door ,turn right and hold for about 15-20 seconds and then turn it left and hold again. this "should" reset it and set your keypad.
Stephen, can you get that old style in the D1 pattern ? I forget the name but they've been around forever.

I know a few people with these. They work nice. Same thing but a little cheaper.
I think northern tool carries them for under $120
I run BFG MT's on my Rover and my spare set are Destination MT's and they're noisy as hell compared to the BFG's but they wear good and clean out better. I just cant stand them on the road...
