By this I assume you mean cutting both ends down with a dremel so they are smooth and then getting an exhaust clamp to put them together? Sounds doable especially with the light rust...
See photo...I assume this will need to be welded. Rover mechanic or muffler shop? Any chances of a DIY fix until I can make it in (non-welding)? This is on the 2000 DII.
