I have a local buyer. If that falls through, I'll reach out the those who messaged me privately (rtgoldenb = 1st, mdubs=2nd). This has been a great rover but at this point I have to grow up and get a minivan to haul the kids and their friends around. I'm sure I'll miss it but at least my kids...
Hi All, I'm selling a 97 SD. Purchased here from Shiftonthefly1 almost two years ago. Truck has been my daily driver ever since. See ad linked below for all the details.

Needs new rear wheel bearings and a new windshield...
Hi All, my clutch pedal on my 97 disco hit the floor on the way home from work the other day and I've diagnosed it as a leaky clutch master cylinder. I ordered both the master and slave from AB and am planning on installing them this weekend. I have the workshop manual and have read some...
Reed, do what I did. Sell the rover and get an FJ80. You can have the same amount of fun and you'll recoup some of your gas costs in the lower cost of maintenance. You can even get one with front/rear locker stock.
I'm reluctantly selling my stock RRC because I need a truck for work. The car spent the majority of its life in the bay area so rust is almost non-existent. The truck is stock with the exception of an aftermarket stereo and stock size Firestone MTs. I'll take additional pictures this weekend...
WNY, are you going? Its too bad they aren't streaming it live like Widespread did over new years. I agree, they open with Chalkdust and I'm going to add Loving Cup as one of the encores.

1988 Range Rover (not a piece of sh**)

az_max, we would hope that the Feds would predict your #2 problem and subsidize the program for the first couple years after taxes dropped below replacement costs. After that the less people drive the less we will need to pay for maintenance. Its an equilibrium thing. If a politician is serious...
SCSL, sounds like its time for you to gather your guns, ladies, and surplus and head for the mountains. Or you could get involved and affect the changes you want or don't want to see.
Bueller, my guess is your mileage tax would be different based on the weight/class of your vehicle. So your tax per mile would be less for your motorcycle because it causes less congestion and road damage. To a certain extent this already exists for big rigs who have to use weigh stations.
Blue, I think you are missing the point. In your first post above you say the new tax by mile policy will fail because people will just drive less. In reality that is exactly what use taxes like this are supposed to achieve; the less you drive the less required maintenance to the road. By the...
Its traditionally been the northern california coast, southern oregon, and north central washington but these days hydroponics allows anyone to grow great herb just about anywhere. The benefit in places like Humboldt and Mendocino Counties in CA are the lax laws. I think medical patients in...
