It would be most welcome here in the states!

Thanks- we don't have snow down here but we do have plenty of mud. I completely understand your experience. I too have found out the hard way, about 5 times, that the pirelli scorpions I have are no good in the mud.
Jwest, does the G-Wagon have a good many tire choices?
I am disappointed at the tire choices as well. I don't think there is one mud tire that will fit the LR3. A winch is almost a necessity with the LR3 with the poor tire choices.
I bet most of us on here would be driving 110's if they...
Thanks Nwoods- are there any mud tires that will fit without complications. I ask that while in a deer stand in a very muddy area in Mississippi. Or a good alternative?

Got the LR3 stuck for the first time last night at deer camp. Was trying to illuminate a trail for dumping guts and got stuck.

I paid $316 (not including state sales tax) new at dealer by asking them for best price and to match another online price. They said the list price and price they usually sell them for is $395, so I was really pleased.
NOT pleased that land rover requires such a lame and expensive part just...

Thanks
I've had a DII and now have a LR3. The interior in the LR3 is better and the drive is much more refined.
I'm with you -that the looks of the DII were more unique and I still like the way it looks better. However, I like the front of the LR3 better. I also like having a tailgate- good place...
