    Painting Axles

    I bought 6 pints of por 15 for $36.95. I used 3 on the chassis only. Spent 2 days cleaning the under carraige and used degreaser and metal ready before I started painting. The metal ready should solve the wd40 issue. Its a etching solution with zinc phoshate that stops rust to prepare the suface...

    I used POR 15 on my D90 chassis and axels. Works great. I'm going to do both of my discovery's as soon as I have the time. Make sure you clean and prep the area good before you apply.

    I just purchased a 97 d-90 and need to find out what kind of spings it has. The dealership said that it had a 2 inch lift but did not know what type. How can I find out?? Thanks, Chuck.

    Could be your jack. Mine leaked last summer and was replaced by the dealer.
