So I had just changed out the drivers side door lock motor and was buttoning up the thing when I noticed this laying in the bottom of the door. no grease on it and n dust I used compressed air earlier to blow out some of those snap-sacs and wondering if this may have been laying in the door...

So the wsm says I gotta use a Shell Retinax LX to pack the lip of the front crank seal. That can't be the only thing that works right, any thoughts on what to use that I can buy off the shelf at my local auto parts store. thanks jeff

So the wifes '00 DII with 73k on it now needs head gaskets....just wondering if anyone has an opinion on wether aftermarket gaskets, clough and wood, napa or ??? are better, worse or should I stick with LR OEM all the way. thanks jeff
