    Hog control and Tannerite....

Luckily we don't have the same problem on our ground and ground I lease that a 6.5 grendel/thermals can't regulate. A friend of mine that runs a quail operation in South GA has had a lot of success eradicating with the Boar Buster drop trap.

    Any Nashville Rover Owners?

Reggie used to run RoversPlus. Haven't spoken to him in years so I'm not sure if he is still in business. PM me if you want his contact, he may have the tool. There is also a place I've seen several rovers parked out of leaving Gallatin on hwy 109 just south of the river. A quick search found...

    smoking a 100 lb pig

Sounds like yall had a great time. I have been doing chicken and a few turkeys from the spring, but I will be slaughtering two hogs next weekend (if the weather gets right, but not looking good) so I will be firing up the pit real soon. It is a lot of work to pull the trigger at daybreak and...

    Tow rigs(aka pickup trucks)

I agree with that. I would say with a 50k budget you can get a quality tow rig in a newer powerstroke anywhere with bells and whistles. If solely using for towing long distance, I would look at a diesel 3/4 ton for long haul comfort. If you are using it around town and medium payload hauls I...

    Tow rigs(aka pickup trucks)

My old man just picked up a 17 f150 with the ecoboost and pulls a 25' OTA gooseneck with a kioti 7320cab with loader with zero issues. IIRC it has more towing capacity than the v8, which still does not make sense to me. Its more than my older 5.3 sierra wants to tow.

    Spain/Portugal/Morocco Recs

That is a great write up! Thank you for sharing! I have gotten through a bit of it but couldn't help to post. It sounds like you rented a car? How was travel between the borders? We are looking at renting a car in Barca and doing park avail AirBnB in Lisbon, Nazare, Sevilla, and doing daily...

    Spain/Portugal/Morocco Recs

It has been a very time since I have posted on this board. Though out of the rover scene for the last several years, i have still been lurking from time to time. I have lined up a contact in England that I am working with on sourcing an import in 2019, so I hope to be a regular again soon...

    Generator / back-up power

Father in law replaced his with a Kohler. I think he had a generac before. Lasted through 3 hurricanes and multiple storms on the gulf coast at their full time residence. I think he has a 20kW which runs almost the whole house including central air. Liquid cooled will last longer than air...

    SoCal Recs

Eh I still haven't booked my SD hotel. I am working with a rep out there and he suggested the Hyatt mission hills which is conducive to his route. We are doing our national sales meeting in Palm Springs so that's already set. Since I'm out there I figured I'd work with the rep and fly my wife...

    SoCal Recs

Thanks for all of the recs. I am flying into Ontario and driving over to Palm Springs on a Friday and doing work stuff in Palm springs until the following Wednesday. Probably play golf a day or two and one day they signed us up for one of those jeep tours. In N Out will be once and basically...

I am going to be in Palm Springs for a meeting coming up around Presidents Day and I have decided to drive over to San Diego and do some work with one of our sales people out there after my meeting. Having never been to California at all I thought it would be fun to drive it and see some...

FWIW I have swapped to motocross style fuel jugs. After some old ones finally started to break and I experienced the newer style I made this switch.

    Springfield XD-M .45

I have an XDM 3.8" 9mm and glock 19. Both are great guns. I prefer the feel of the XDM. You really can't go wrong with either. If you are using it to carry I would just spend the extra dineros and get a kimber ultra carry or at least the XDM-S. The glock and xdm are a tough brick to carry.
