I just installed some TF front shocks with medium springs: both 2"+. On the rear I installed TJM rear shocks with Bearmach spacers. I also did goodridge brake lines all around. It's a nice setup with a nice lift that makes the car drive better than before. Even the front and rear are the same...
I measured some things today and it is not possible to change the bushes. The bush mounts are different in thickness and diameter, this besides the length of the shock e.d.
I will try to sell the other set. Thanks for the effort guys!
What Kyle says is correct. Besides that, there is another issue. The diameter from the upper bush is different from the lower bush (front shock). Is this the same for the rear shock? or are both bushes the same diameter? In that way, a front shock isn't suitable to adapt for rear use..?
Hi all,
I have a question about replacing a bush of two shocks. I bought two sets of terrafirma shocks last month. Sadly I received two front sets. I discovered that the mounting on the axle differs so I have a little problem.
Because I can't send the shocks back, I want to replace the lower...
Well actually I was just curious because I use air tools alot in my garage. Everytime I go somewhere and I want to do something, I wish I had some air with me! haha
So if these air systems are not capable of this, why would someone install something like this if it is only for the tires?
Hi all,
I am looking for a air system in my D2. Did some research and I saw some nice setups on the Viair website. Problem is, everywhere they tell it is possible to use pneumatic tools with it.. My question is: how well, and what kind of setup is needed to use those tools?
I know: the bigger...
Just done that couple of weeks ago! On the left of the steering wheel, four buttons for light switch, all original. The fuel switch is now on the above the coin tray.
Like I did:
(0) Disconnect the battery. I didn't and the fuse burnt ;)
(1) Pull out all the switches on both sides of the...
I understand what you mean about the hill descent. When the amigos turn on, the ABS fails so the HC won't work either then.
I will check the fuse thanks for the tip :D
Is that a question? If so, I do have the amigo's sometimes. But they have been away for a few weeks now :) I don't think that the amigo's have something to do with the SLS problem and the hill descent control is working again .. JEUJ :)
I am sorry to say this but it isn't the first time I used the system. Thank you for your answer anyway mbrummal. All doors where closed, the engine was running. The ORM warning lamp doens't flash at all at the moment. Like it's not responding..?
Sorry about the wrong "word" for my problem. It's...
Another strange thing, when activating the hill descent, the icon flashes and makes the beep sound until I deactivate the hill descent..
I think there is a little problem
malfunctioning SLS
Hi all :)
was having some fun today when a problem occured. I wanted to raise the back but the system wasn't responding. So i went on with driving and after the TC went on several times, the ACE promplty started to lift the back. After the back was raised, the light kept...
Will do both and post pictures later ;) Thanks mate!
/edit
I just saw on Rave that you can use some special designed parts making the deassembling / assembling easier. I don't need these right? :)
Hi Quentin,
thanks for your explanation :D think I will manage that repair. Is it a problem if I drive with it for a short time? I have edited the second pictures so they work ;)

guess it is this part? ...
Hi everyone :)
Since a few days my disco 2 started to leak some oil, on two spots.. Problem is that I can't locate exactly where it comes from or know what the reason is.
I took some pictures and i hope you could give me a hand :)
The first one is from the front diff, the oil leaks out of the...
