    119 mpg.....discuss amongst yourselves

I almost forgot! The new 6-cyl Mustang is advertised to make 300bhp and get 30mpg, right? I've always been a GM guy, but nowadays, I'd buy a Ford. And I never thought I would say this, but I would buy a V6 Mustang, lol.

    119 mpg.....discuss amongst yourselves

Corvettes are great performance / mpg cars. Almost idling at 80mph in a light, aerodynamic package will net about 28mpg or so. Honda Civic SI's are great too. 200bhp and 30+ mpg in a neat little package that will likely run 300K+ miles.

    Unexpected?

We have leaders? I thought we were on a rudderless ship for sure.

    Of course he did.

And the lunatics at westbro baptist church were "rightly" expressing their freedom of speech by yelling "God hates fags" and protesting at military burial services. Some things are perfectly legal according to US law while simultaneously being a terrible idea. I would see justification of the...

    General Thoughts on "Performance" Exhaust

I bought a Borla muffler for mine - forgot which one it is, but it's marginally louder than stock, is smaller, and is tucked out of the way for hitting the trail. It's not loud, and it's got a great tone. Going with a nicer muffler might make the difference between a Land Rover V8 sound and a...

    Pics from Uwharrie today

The ledges on Daniel are daunting to look at when you don't want body damage, but like mulisha says, they're all about the right line. I've spent over 30 minutes with no avail, and then moved 1' over and made it up on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. For my particular Rover with 31.5" tires, going up...

    Pics from Uwharrie today

I just had time to run up Daniel. And yes, I ghost ride my Rover up trails, lol. Unfortunately, nobody else was able to go spur of the monent from Raleigh for 2 hours of wheeling :( Gonna have to catch the next meet.

Just wanted to share some pics from a quick run to Uwharrie today. Seeing all of the Rovers posted up in the other thread made me want to get mine out and hit the trail.

Picture Request: DII w/ 3"+ lift, 33"+ tires

I've been looking at my fenders recently, and seeing what I could live without. It looks like it would be relatively easy to trim for 34"s+ to possibly fit (without the Rover looking hacked up, necessarily). The only spot that looks like it might be trouble is on the rear fender (if you're...

Picture Request: DII w/ 3"+ lift, 33"+ tires

Yep, I got to see Chuck's DII in person previously. It's a good looking rig for sure. I'm with Kennith on the wheels. I never thought about going with silver steel wheels until I went from black painted stock aluminum wheels back to silver aluminum wheels. Silver DEFINITELY looks better on my...

Are those the silver steel wheels that Atlantic British sells? Those are sweet. And I'm digging the limb risers.
