I emailed Michele @ Griffin a while back and she just reached out to me today (probably prompted by your request!)... I shelved it back then when she asked me to send her specs.

Was changing over to Bilstein shocks on my 99 D2 last night and FUBARRED one of the rear shock mounting bolts... Talked to Land Rover dealer and they want $19 for the bolt - but the catch is you have to buy them in packs of 5!! $100 for 1 freakin' bolt!! And... they refused to give me the...
I had mine fixed on my 99 d2 last year... They tried to tell me the same thing. I took close-up pictures of the rust and emailed them to the service manager. She sent them to her regional manager for approval. I even had the rear door hinges (that are notorious for rust!) replaced. I think...
I had mine for my 99 D2 replaced under the corrosion warranty last year. Total bill from the body shop was about $1500. I had them address the rust on the rear hinges as well.
I think the corrosion warranty is 6 years...

I changed out both of my front sensors at a cost of $70 each from AB on my 99 Disco 2. I took it into my independent (roverclubhouse.com) to get the codes cleared and it didn't fix my problem!!! They said that I'd have to replace my front hub to fix the problem - at a cost of $480 + 3hrs...
Who did you buy your warranty through? I own a 1999 Disco 2 and am not looking forward to shelling anything out for major repairs...
BTW, I never buy extended warranties, but I'd make an exception for my Rover as I think it would definitely pay for itself!!
Thanks,
Bryan
Bob,
I feel your frustration w/ Land Rover service... Check out Rover Club House (http://www.roverclubhouse.com/) in Durham. They're very reasonable - I paid $60 to have my codes reset.
BTW... www.northeastbritishparts has decent pricing on some of their stuff. I just bought a transmission...
Shane,
Mine does the same thing... M&S will flash but will reset when restarted. Somtimes it takes a couple restarts. I'm planning on changing my filter/fluid next week. Gotta get the parts ordered today.
Also, on my other problem - I'm going to take the shifter assembly apart and clean...
I've had the same problems recently w/ my 99 DII... Has anyone found a problem?
Also, sometimes when I shift it into park I can't remove my key - the P doesn't display on the cluster and the red light on the shifter doesn't light up next to park. I usually have to restart it and the P on the...
