If these are the Camaro Steel wheels,,,, I promise that they WILL FIT and DO WORK. I've had them on my 2002 DII for 3 years and have used them HARD and OFTEN. Got some steel lugs and slapped them on,,,, never have looked back! These are great wheels, you shouldn't let them go for soooo cheap:(

Another option to consider is Aluminum based anti-seize, just like copper except aluminum based. Always works like a charm with gaskets, never had a problem with leaks.

For the future, spreading Copper Anti-Seize on both sides of the gasket is the way to go, never have to curse and scrape the gasket off again.
