Sorry it took me so long to get to this, I have been very busy. So when I got ready to try to work on the swivel preload, I pulled the Tire and Spotted two loose bolts on the steering. Tightend those and Problem was gone. Thanks alot for all your help. Rhett

I've had my 1997 d1 sd for only about a month and a half, and i've just read the statement on the visor that sais the airbag system has to be serviced 10 years from date of manufacture. I have no idea if this has been done but it should have been done in july judging by the info on the door...
