alright, I got the new pump in and I have better fuel at the rail. But still no dice on spark. What should I try next?

I can swap out the pump tonight, it just seems weird that they would both go bad at the same time. thanks for the help.

The fuel pump has less then 50k on it. Does that sound reasonalbe?

I just pulled the line off the out let side of the fuel filter and I am getting lots of fuel coming out when I turn it over. Now it's reading 10psi at the rail, which is better then before.

I am having major issues with my 1995 disco. It drove fine earlier today, then it sat for a half hour and nothing. It cranks over just fine, but I am not getting any spark and no presure at the rail. I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I turn the key, but all I get is a little fuel to...

My coil and cap and rotor came today. I put the the coil in first, and I got the same thing, just cranking. Then I put in the genuine cap and rotor and it fired. The wierd thing is it was acting like the timing was off, I am not sure why? So I got the timing adjusted and everything is fine.

see my post on page 2 about a 95 won't start. I am having the same problem. I do get spark but it is very weak. My new coil just showed up from UPS this morning. I will put it in later this afternoon. Hopefully it works.

Where is the amplifier module located on a 95? According to Rave it should be located on the side of the distributor, but I did not see it. Which coil should I go with? it has a bosch in it right now, is the bosch worth the extra money over the lucas?

The coil is getting over 13v with the ignition on. I think the ignition module is okay but the coil is bad. I am going to get a coil and a genuine cap and rotor. I hope that takes care of it. It looks like British Pacific has the parts for cheap, I will have to overnight them, doh.

I did some more testing and I am getting a weak spark. Is there a way to test the coil or ignition module? I did some calling around for another coil and nobody has one. Is this a dealer only part?

My wife was driving home our 95 disco with 140K on it. She was driving on the freeway and it wouldn't accelrate past 55 mph, a few miles later it wouldn't go past 45 mph. She pulled off the freeway and eventually it just died and now it won't restart. It turns over strong like normal, but it...

I went to napa and picked up another stepper motor and it worked like a charm. The last one I put in there lasted less then a year. I guess I can't complain about a $39 fix though.

I am still stuck. I have adjusted the base idle down as far as it will go and it will idle at 1250K. I can't find the ECU, it's not located on the passenger fender well. I have also cleaned the throttle body and run a little seafoam just for good measure. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
