    They didn't really do checksums back then. Closest implementation of it was a "Inverted" or XOR of the data received. I don't believe Landrover was ever sophisticated enough for it until BMW ate them. I do have the information for the BMW generation of K & L protocol, but nothing for this gen.

    ISO9141 K & L-line. Not linbus, which is much newer and very different. K & L line look like a stream of unrelated messages, because as opposed to canbus and other protocols, K-L protocols split a single message into multiple packets. To see who says what, use your scanner to request comms...

    Teeeeechnically if we have that much overhead on the pump, a pressure sensor may do the trick. Tie pressure sensor into my controller, and we can map out a "boost" map, that if pressure drops beyond expected level during brake application, to bump up the pump to target that pressure.

    I'm the seller :) My controller does have support for Pressure sensor inputs, which you can use to set a limit on the pump if you prefer. Usually with EHPAS this isn't a problem though, as it just produces flow, while the rest of the rack is what produces the pressure. Mazda/Volvo pumps do...
