I hear you, but we're talking a 9 year difference. Also, there are many 4 cylinder turbo motors that are plenty smooth and don't mimic the sound of a diesel. Is it just that LR is late to the turbo game? Gas wise?

Melt plastic out with torch. Remove nut. Run next smaller die, SAE possibly to remain as close to original as possible.

Just disappointing that LR in 2018 can't outdo what Volvo accomplished in 2009, engine wise. The Yamaha actually gets decent mileage, driven normally.
