    Dash Removed Pics?

Here are some pics when I had to replace my heater core. 2003 DII. You got the HVAC, heater core, heater pipes, steering column and whole bunch of bullshit wires. The wiring is pretty straight forward though, the plugs can only go in one place(most of them anyway).

    Harbor Freight winch?

    Hey kinda like Land Rover's.

Are you using Mobil 1 or K&N filters?

I've been running the Mobil 1 301 filter for a while now. Get's the job done but it is pricey. I think im going to go with Napa gold or the wix filter next time. I've switched from rotella to mobil 1 delvac though. Pretty good oil, keeps the engine quite and the design of the jug is nice as it...

    Head gasket? please say no

Do a cold bleed as well the next time you fill it with coolant so you get the air out.

2003 D2 - CDL Transfer Case swap out

Isn't there a plug on the lockable transfer cases to engage the CDL light in the dash? If going by your method, when I lock the t-case will I get the signal on the dash? Ive got an 03 and have wanted a CDL for a while.

    Big Pimpin' ---- NOT MINE

I never understood putting rims on a DII. Just makes it look cheap and shitty. Stock wheels or steel wheels are the only way to go.

    DiscoMike

That is enlightening though about DiscoMike. I didn't know he was in such poor health that he has to be at home all the time. It makes me feel a little bad for him, the forum must be one of the only things he's got. Still, it's not an excuse.

    DiscoMike

Haha no if anyone were the rover "gods" of the site, it was SavannahBuzz and Spike555. They have helped many more people than Mike has, and despite being LR junkies they have always been reasonable and polite to people and given them real affordable advice.

    DiscoMike

Hey Spike I didn't know you had an account on Discoweb. It seems like LRF is on it's last leg as of late. I've felt like I've been walking on glass on that site for a very long time (recently I think DiscoMike thinks im "tolerable" though). You and I have talked countless times discussing his...

    Sign of approval

For some reason new Land Rovers just don't appeal to me. I'd only consider buying one from 2004 or older(both Disco's and Rangies). I think they are just more rugged vehicles, and not as much electrical BS that's prone to failure. The older models are also more DIY vehicles which I really...

now I'm a bad guy..driveshaft expert from LRF

He banned Spike? Damn it. Him and SavannahBuzz are/were the ones keeping that place going, what a shame. I hope Spike will at least migrate here to DiscoWeb. As for LRSilver. He's given me good advice on issues in the past and for that I still have respect for him, but he has been really...

    Popped A Liner

Excuse my newbliness but does anyone know what temperature the liner should slip? Is it possible to dance around it by running a cooler thermostat?

    2004 Land Rover Disco

Get a 180 motorad t-stat. Hopefully you can extend the life of the original head gaskets. Oh and if you're still running dexcool switch to peak or prestone.

    New Rangie L405

I prefer the Range Rover's from the mid 90's. They are classy yet still have a rugged defender look that the new RR's severely lack.

    Help me out here. Please.
