Here are some pics when I had to replace my heater core. 2003 DII. You got the HVAC, heater core, heater pipes, steering column and whole bunch of bullshit wires. The wiring is pretty straight forward though, the plugs can only go in one place(most of them anyway).
I've been running the Mobil 1 301 filter for a while now. Get's the job done but it is pricey. I think im going to go with Napa gold or the wix filter next time.
I've switched from rotella to mobil 1 delvac though. Pretty good oil, keeps the engine quite and the design of the jug is nice as it...
Isn't there a plug on the lockable transfer cases to engage the CDL light in the dash?
If going by your method, when I lock the t-case will I get the signal on the dash? Ive got an 03 and have wanted a CDL for a while.
That is enlightening though about DiscoMike. I didn't know he was in such poor health that he has to be at home all the time. It makes me feel a little bad for him, the forum must be one of the only things he's got. Still, it's not an excuse.

For some reason new Land Rovers just don't appeal to me. I'd only consider buying one from 2004 or older(both Disco's and Rangies). I think they are just more rugged vehicles, and not as much electrical BS that's prone to failure. The older models are also more DIY vehicles which I really...
He banned Spike? Damn it. Him and SavannahBuzz are/were the ones keeping that place going, what a shame. I hope Spike will at least migrate here to DiscoWeb.
As for LRSilver. He's given me good advice on issues in the past and for that I still have respect for him, but he has been really...
Get a 180 motorad t-stat. Hopefully you can extend the life of the original head gaskets. Oh and if you're still running dexcool switch to peak or prestone.
