    pop up camper

I tow a fully loaded Pop-up camper (3500lbs plus gear in my DII) a lot during the summer. I tow on both the freeway and many miles of mountain roads. You aren't setting any speed records and you know it's back there but it is fine. Pay attention to your driving and you shouldn't have any...

    Jack Mate Wheel Lift

I have one. Played around with it in the driveway but haven't needed to use it in the field. Seems to work fine. I got it before my sliders/bumper since a stock DII doesn't have any functional jacking points for a Hi Lift.

The most useless upgrade in the history of upgrades...

Funny. . . After a small "mishap" that required a new hood on my '04 I went to pick it up from the body shop. Inspected it and it looked fine. Drove it for a day or so but something just didn't look right but I couldn't figure it out. I literally walked around the truck 20 times trying to...

    Rock Sliders?

Okay. . .Okay. . .that's my rig in the pictures and that's the cleanest it's been since the picture was taken. I only had my DII for a few months and felt the need to clean it after spending a week in the mountains. Believe me. . . it ain't that clean any more and probably will never be again...

Use of CDL in snow on highway.

If you are on snow you are not on "hard pavement." As long as there is loose enough traction to allow slippage between front & rear axles you are fine. I've spent days on end with CDL locked when in the snow.

    04 Disco SE gas door

Before spending a bunch of time at the dealer take a quick look at the metal tab that hooks to the plastic clip. Mind was misaligned and a quick bend to the metal tab fixed things.

    Approach angles

John, You obviously haven't read the owners manual with the ARB bumpers you sell. If you did, you would have seen where it says "installation of this bumper replaces the use of common sense." :p
