Anyone using 285/60/18 BFG AT KO2?

Hey y'all, Just wanted to update my own thread and say the LT285/60R18 BFG AT KO2 fits just as well at the Nitto TG in the same size w/o a full-time lift. I can tell that the tire is actually a little narrower, which I like. Have only driven a few miles, but so far so good. I hope this helps...

Anyone using 285/60/18 BFG AT KO2?

Any of you guys wearing 285/60/18 BFG AT KO2s yet? I need to get some tires this week and I was thinking I would replace my Nitto Terra Grapplers with the BFGs, but I was wonder if the BFGs clear everything just as well. I've never had issues with my Nittos, but I want the severe weather rating...

    WTB: White or Silver LR3

Also keep in mind you'll need front control arm replacement (approx $1200) around your desired mileage. It can come up every 30-70K depending on your driving habits. Try to find out when it was last done and don't forget to check for a rear locker!

Transmission Fault >HDC system Fault > suspension lowering

The brake switch was updated at some point so switching it out wasn't a waste. There is a harness connector above the spare that is suceptable to corrosion and has been known to cause issues like this. The problem is that a lot of stuff can cause these symptoms.

Interstate is the factory replacement and is what I'd expect to be there.

Transmission Fault >HDC system Fault > suspension lowering

As I recall this LR3 was just recently purchased, right? Check the battery and see if the installer indicated the month and year it was installed. If so this will give you an idea of how old it is at least. I've been told that throughout the day the computer systems will ping each other and kind...

Transmission Fault >HDC system Fault > suspension lowering

When it occurs do you have brake lights? If not it could be your brake switch. It's inexpencive and easy to replace.

    Hannibal racks

No experience, but have you considered Front Runner? They're racks are extremely similar and there is a lot of information to be found on their website. I have even heard that some Hannibal accessories are compatible. The only guys I know with Hannibal experience are "nwoods" & "ksuttle"(may not...

    Rejoining Land Rover Ownership

I popped my hood today out of curiosity and sure enough "Zambezi Silver". Same year, different silver. I think I've hogged your thread enough; Back on topic!

    Rejoining Land Rover Ownership

Welcome back. =) I thought Zermatt Silver didn't start until 2007, but I could very well be wrong. I'm not even sure that I can tell the difference between Zambezi and Zermatt.

    Lr3/d3 Mpg?

13.5 with almost all city driving around my town of hills. I literally drive uphill both ways in a lot of cases. I'm running the same tire size as you are and my speedo is off by about 2-3mph.

Bonus question ... LR3 repair costs

Got a quote of about $1100 after alignment from the dealer yesterday. I think price varies quite a bit depending on location. Fortunately I don't need a replacement yet.

    Looking at an LR3

The D2 has a nice interior and I felt like it was well made, but it was pretty cramped (I'm 6'4"). The quality of the leather seemed better in the D2, thicker maybe? The LR3 is quite a bit larger in terms of length so I'm a lot more comfortable. I like the arm rest, but the door has the usual...
