Check that the watts linkage is installed correctly. A friend's D2 was swinging its ass all over and when we checked the watts linkage was installed wrong. I can't remember the details, but installing it correctly made a world of difference.

I have a D2, there is a noticeable difference between summer and winter in how long it takes to lockup. If it is not slipping or hard shifting then I would not worry about it.

Another way to look at it.... torque wrenches measure resistance to turn. Friction is the biggest factor in resistance to turn, there are many variables that influence friction: lubrication, thread condition etc. That is why they use an angle torque rather than a ft lbs torque, 90 degrees is 90...

There are 6 longer bolts, longer bolts stretch more which will translate to seeing less ft lbs torque on those bolts....

Easy, the tranny must be at running temp, with the engine idling in P remove the tranny fill plug and add fluid until it runs out - then she's full enough.
