Our adventure into Gembrook Forest (Victoria) was halted early with a deep bog hole which had claimed a Land Cruiser Tray Back. The owner had tried the night before to get it out but had given up, presumably to come back today to recover it. It was in our way, and we couldn't drive around it so we decided to move it.

Land Rover Series III with front and rear lockers, and a Warn
winch, being tied to a tree so that it can winch the bogged Land Cruiser out
without being dragged forward.

Luckily the Land Cruiser had a bull bar with appropriate recovery
hooks.

After the Land Cruiser was extracted, a Series II decided to give it
a go.

Very entertaining to see mud flying everywhere. That is one hell
of a deep bog.

Having backed up and going in with a big run, the Series II makes it out!

Can't see, so time to give the wipers a helping hand

Here I am with my Disco II after some easy stuff. Wheels getting
dirty. Perhaps it's time for a wax job?

A Defender 110 with custom rego plate "LANDIE" (Sorry Umit, we've got
one here in Australia already!)

This steep hill just didn't seem all that steep in the pictures.
Front bumper was just grading the top of the ruts!

My Disco II with the unstoppable Pinzgauer 6x6 troop carrier

All spruced up and ready to head home. The Disco II made it to the office
car park and had some stares for a day. I decided to clean it up properly later that
week.
