Because a deer tried to steal my fiancee's P38.

Don't these stupid deer know you can't hijack a car going 50mph???

Joking aside, she is fine. Shaken up with nothing but a scratch on her finger....

The deer was still alive for a few moments struggling while she was able to stop and get out. Thank God she's ok, we gotta get married in a few weeks.

Good thing is we live just a mile down the road so I was able to get on seen rickytick before the amberlamps or staties showed up. The deer was still alive when she got out but had expired by the time I showed up. I had my buck knife just in case...

I estimate the buck weighed 120lbs or so.

Oh shit. Thank god she's alright.

I think I've seen enough blood and guts today. A guy crashed his scooter in front of my driveway today while I was working on the truck. No helmet and it basically shredded his face and I sat there on the phone with 911, applying pressure with towels trying to stop the bleeding. My street looked like your dash, only three times as much blood.

Sweet baby jebus! She is lucky to be ok. She must be pretty level headed to stay on the road after that (though her taste in men is suspect) Did you have full coverage? If not let me know and, I could use a good p38 with no windshield and deer blood in it.

You occasionaly hear about people getting killed in crashes like that! Really glad she's ok! I'll have to look around for the pics of the dear I was telling you about that came in the back passenger window onto the back seat.

Seen that a few times down there, the deer are way too thick. Lejeune is talking about bringing in "specialists" to help thin their heard. I know i did my part on SR10 with a 240.......

I get to play "dodge the stupid swamp donkeys" for the next couple of months. Its getting cooler up here and the bull moose are going to start getting horny and aggressive.

Dont want a 1200lb moose on my hood, or roof....
