TRE Thread size

Does anyone know (PT?) what the size the thread on the tre's is? The LH one in the front steering link has been boogered up by the previous owner's shop and the old tre was a b*tch to remove. I see the thread is a shot for about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch at the inboard end.

I'm trying to decide if I should get a tap and recut the thread or simply buy a used link.

Anyone?

11/16-16 IIRC. It's a bastard size and you won't find one at your hardware store, nor many machine supply houses.

Guess who has one for both right and left-hand threads.

You know you've been wanting to come out and see the new shop!

Yup, just went out and looked. 11/16-16.

Am I THAT predictable that you knew I'd know and probably have the taps?

Thanks to you and Don! Actually I picked up some 'cast off' drag links today from someone in the GLLRC, so for now I'm good........but you never know when you might need to check out that new shop........

Glad you got it sorted. There is an outside chance I may have an engine built yet this year and might be able to go on a trip with the GLLRC. I haven't been out with that bunch for years!
