Rear Door Lock Clicking?

When I go to unlock my 99 Disco 1, the rear lock acts like it didn't unlock and it sounds like it trys a couple of more times. Does anyone have a fix? Or does anybody esle have this problem and how long. Mine just started 2 days ago.

Lube the rods and linkages. If that doesn't fix it, you need an actuator.

I had a similar problem in the tailgate somehow the rod connected to the attenuator had "stretched" replaced it with a piece of wire coat hanger has worked great for afew months now
