DII CD Changer/Player Skipping.

The CD player on our '00 DII has started to skip or have trouble playing tracks. We've tried a few different CD's and it doesn't seem to follow the CD. It's been getting worse.

Can these players be cleaned?? If so, how??

Any other ideas??

Have you tried cleaning it, if it is used alot they will get pretty dirty. Go buy yourself a cleaning kit and try, othere wise you'll have to go to the dealer and have him read the radio fault codes.

Check out : http://www.carstereohelp.com/strlandrover.htm they have removal instructions, etc, and can repair CD if it is defective.
